Our Story

We are proudly based just outside of Mooresville, North Carolina—widely recognized as Race City USA.

Through my work in the motorsports industry, I interact with racers and teams on a daily basis. One recurring theme I hear is the growing challenge of balancing the rising cost of racing with the time and effort required—especially for those working full-time jobs outside the sport.

Over the years, I’ve observed that multiple customers are often located within the same geographic regions. For example one racer might be in need of a motor, while another has just sold their car but still owns a complete drivetrain and still wants to be involved in the sport. Observations like these sparked the idea for www.RaceTeamBuilder.com, a platform designed to connect racers, help fill gaps, and make it easier to get cars back on track.

A few years ago, we introduced the concept with a simple sign at the PRI Show in Indianapolis. The overwhelmingly positive response confirmed that this idea had real potential—and it was time to bring it to life.

Our primary mission is to help increase car counts at local tracks across the country. A stronger field benefits everyone in the racing community—from fans enjoying more competitive and exciting events, to manufacturers seeing increased product movement, to promoters filling grandstands and pit areas.

RaceTeamBuilder.com is here to support the racers who keep our sport alive, and to help ensure the future of short track racing remains bright. Working together we can get cars off of jack stands and in front of the grandstands!
